I am a NY-licensed cosmetologist, specializing in hair extensions.
In this regard, I am a Hairlocs -certified specialist, with over four years of training and
professional experience in the Hairlocs Hair Extension System. Although I am licensed and experienced
in performing hairstyling/ cutting/ coloring , I do not provide these services. After working at a fast paced 5th Avenue salon,
and at a small upper east side full service salon, my passion for hair extensions was confirmed, as well as the fact that
the Hairlocs system is the safest on all types of hair for long-term wear.
My main interest is to provide a subtle or extreme hair enhancement transformation
while keeping and improving the integrity of your hair. I've taken over the work of numerous hair extension specialists, as
well as work performed in salons by other hairstylists/ colorists, and I was shocked not only by incorrect placement (which
causes damage and great discomfort!!), but also by how misinformed the clients were on maintaining and caring for their hair.
I once paid top dollar for the best
of the popular hot-fusion a.k.a. keratin = glue strands and OUCH!! on wearing and removing (I was literally in tears during
the $300 removal). More importantly, I've experienced wearing
Hairlocs for ten consecutive months, and I'm looking forward to having them done
again and again on my baby fine hair. I began working from my home, as salons are not interested in hiring hair extension
specialists. I now offer professional unrushed services at my private midtown studio, or in your home.
